The Heart of England Forest is a charity set up to create a 30,000 acre native broadleaf forest for people and for wildlife. The vision is to plant, protect and preserve a native broadleaf forest – a place of tranquillity and natural beauty that is open to anyone and planted with the help and support of everyone. As the natural world comes under increasing pressure, its great to see a commitment to reverse the loss of native woodland in England. Over the coming years as the Forest matures, it will become a vital resource for people and an oasis for wildlife. I pledge my time to help plant native trees for the benefit of generations to come.
